About Alcott Street
At one time, this house was featured in Home & Gardens magazine. When it was purchased, however, it came with many hurdles. The owners expanded the house by building walls outside of the current exterior walls. As a result, the home was a hazard, lacked function, and was incredibly awkward. Very little was salvageable. The new structure featured modern, clean lines and an open layout while preserving the desirable brick. Beautiful, high-end stone flagstone that was salvaged from the demolition was used as well.
